Short Days – Long Shadows

Light and shadow are fascinating, and I am especially fascinated by shadows at this time of year. As we come into the longest darkness the shadows are always long and distorted – creating such interesting shapes. My Shadow, by Robert Louis Stevenson, was one of my favorite childhood poems.
